University of Malaya, or UM, Malaysia's oldest university, is located in a campus area of ​​750 acres (309 hectares) in the south-west of Kuala Lumpur, the Malaysian capital. First established in Singapore in April 1949 following the merger of the King Edward VII College of Medicine (founded in 1905) with Raffles College (founded in 1928).

University of Malaya in Singapore began with the establishment of King Edward VII Medical College in 1905. In 1949, the Raffles College in Singapore merged with the King Edward VII College of Medicine. After that, the University of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur, established in 1962.

Terms of Appointment:

• Certificate of Education and pass the subject electrical or electronic or information technologyrecognized as equivalent by the government of the institutions of higher learning or equivalent qualification, or
• Certificate of Education and the Malaysian Skills Certificate Level 2 in a related field or equivalent qualification, or
• Certificate of Education and the Malaysian Skills Certificate Level 3 in a related field or equivalent qualification, or
• certificate in information technology or data processing that is recognized by the government from local polytechnics or recognized equivalent qualification, or
• a certificate in electronic engineering (computer) that is recognized by the government of
• local polytechnics or qualification recognized equivalent there to.

• Candidates for appointment shall be not less than 18 years on the closing date of the position.
